Motherhood has made Bianca Gonzalez realize that now, more than ever for her, quality time matters.
Thus, she has become more organized in juggling her work commitments and domestic affairs so that she can attend to her daughters, Lucia and Carmen, at all times.
And when she is with her kids, she puts away her phone having realized too that a gadget-less time with them strengthens their bond.
The celebrity mom told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) after a lifestyle event in May, "Yun yung nag-i-stick sa bata.
"I work from home din kasi, I write and I edit. Alam ng anak ko yun.
"Kunwari naglalaro siya diyan, nasa computer ako sa table.
"She'll say, 'Excuse me, mommy.' 'Tapos she'll ask me something.
"But once I'm done with whatever work that I have to do, talagang sa kanya ako.
"I'll try not to check my phone. I'll leave my phone somewhere else."
Bonding with her kids is paramount to Bianca, "Kasi I recently taught my daughter how to pray.
"So, thank you God for the ganyan at the end of the night. Thank you God for ganito.
"Kunwari, 'Thank you God for nanay,' yung kasama namin sa bahay, 'who always cooks my food.'
"And then when it comes to me, she always says, 'Thank you God for my mommy who always hugs and kisses me.'
"So parang, for me, sa dami nang ginagawa ko para sa kanya na hindi man niya alam, at the end of the day, pinaka nag-i-stick sa kanya, yung hug and kisses.
"So, yun, for me, it's the quality of time or showing them your full attention kapag nandun ka."
The PBB Otso host, however, acknowledged she could only do so much given her busy schedule.
Bianca said, "With help talaga," referring to her daughters' nannies and household helpers.
"I call them my angels at home, kasi sila yung mga nag-aalaga sa mga anak ko when I'm at work and my husband is at work.
"This morning when I left, yung husband ko nasa training pa, so my two daughters, nasa angels namin sa bahay.
"Definitely not possible without them. Hindi naman uso day care dito sa Pilipinas kasi we have help at home, so definitely sila."
