Valentine's Day now holds a special meaning for celebrity mom Saab Magalona.
Two years ago, February 14 was the day when Saab finally got to meet her newborn son, Pancho.
The musician-vlogger writes on her latest Instagram post, "Valentine’s Day 2018 was the first time I was allowed to meet Pancho. He was already 6 days old.
"I may have shared this story before but I can't repeat it enough. My sweet boy was fighting to survive and now he's already 2 years old!!!
"All my love to my husband for being the best partner and my source of strength."
Those who have followed Saab and Pancho's story from the beginning know how February 2018 was one of the most difficult months for the celebrity mom and her husband Jim Bacarro.
On February 8, 2018, Saab gave birth to twins Pancho and Luna.
But this joyous moment immediately came with heartbreak when Saab and Jim lost Luna, and Pancho had to be confined indefinitely in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Saab herself was "in and out" of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and "almost didn't make it" as she narrated in her March 6, 2018 blog entry.
Pancho stayed in the NICU for nearly three months and only got out of the hospital in April 2018.
In the following months, Saab and Jim asked for prayers as their son underwent surgery.
Thankfully, the little boy pulled through.
Now, he is two years old and a big brother to his sibling Vito.
Vito was born on September 16, 2019.
