GMA-7 actress Max Collins is considering giving birth at home as the COVID-19 spread continues to escalate.
The soon-to-be mom is due to give birth in July, but she and husband Pancho Magno have begun preparing their house in case they decide on home birthing.
Max tells GMA-7 news program 24 Oras: "I don't feel comfortable na hospital setting, lalo na now.
"I just started a course for home birthing. I want it to be a water birth, so I'm looking for a mini pool."
The Kapuso star "never thought it would come to this," but she considers this option as "the safest way" to give birth under these circumstances.
Max is in constant communication with her OB-GYN about birthing options.
"Not a hundred percent sure about the home birth because I have to check the positioning of the baby, kung kaya ko.
"So, I've still been talking to my OB-GYN about having labor at a hospital."
GMA-7 actors Max and Pancho are expecting a baby boy.
