Marian Rivera says even her daughter Zia has felt the changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

While Marian and her husband Dingdong Dantes welcome the break, allowing them to have more time for the family, Zia misses the social interactions with her friends.

The Kapuso actress tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press at her Zoom video conference on September 12, 2020, “Si Zia, affected din talaga siya.

'I just want to go to school. I miss my teacher, my best friend in school.'

So, nagsu-Zoom sila. Nagkakamustahan sila through Zoom.

"Pero, sinasabi niya na sana matapos na so we can go out and play outside."

Though the four-year-old kid understands the importance of staying at home these days, she can't help but ask, "Kailan ba matatapos itong virus na ito?"

When this happens, Marian patiently explains the situation to her.

That's why when Dingdong needs to leave the house, it is Zia that reminds him that he is not supposed to leave.

“Sasabihin niya, 'Dad, don’t go out. There’s virus outside.' No Mama, don’t, no.'"

Meanwhile, Zia and her baby brother Ziggy are the main reasons Marian backed out of her supposed TV comeback project, First Yaya.

The thought of having to go through lock-in taping, not to mention, self-isolation after the taping, is too worrisome for Marian.
