Actress Ryza Cenon is all agog as she waits to give birth in November.

The expectant mom-to-be tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a virtual interview last September 23, "Nilu-look forward ko iyong delivery bilang first time ko.

Ganoon ba iyong feeling?"

The VIVA artist is candid about admitting she does not know what to expect.

She is fully confident her obstetrician is in control and can handle any emergency that may arise during her childbirth.

Ryza says homebirth is not an option for her despite the pandemic.

Ready for puyat nights

Ryza declares she is prepared to spend many sleepless nights breastfeeding and pacifying her baby.

She's used to staying awake all night as it has been her way of life, anyway.

"Hanggang ngayon naman mga 2 or 3 [a.m.], o minsan 5 [a.m.] pa nga ako matutulog."

Ryza adds she hasn't been sleeping well because of her bulging tummy.

"Kapag gumilid ka, feeling mo baka madaganan iyong ulo niya. So, kailangan mo lang dumiretso.

Knowing she has to regain her strength after giving birth, Ryza says she and her partner Miguel Antonio Cruz have a rough idea how they're going to take turns taking care of the baby.

She shares, "Naplano naman namin iyon... ako bahala hanggang 5 a.m. Then 6, sila na. Then magna-nap na ako."

Ryza and Miguel are naming their son, "Night."

She explains the whimsical name, "Siya iyong pinaka-light sa night namin. Super good night talaga."

Ryza announced her pregnancy in July 2020.
