"And in a blink, my #LittleSunshine, @haileelucca, is one month old."
Actress Kris Bernal took to Instagram to mark the first month of her daughter, Hailee Lucca.
Kris happily posted a video of Hailee, looking cute and adorable in her crib.
Hailee was born on August 15, 2023.
Kris revealed in a previous post that her baby's name was inspired by the word "Hallelujah" and her favorite basketball player, the Slovenian shooting guard Luka Doncic who plays for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA.
MOMS AND DADS CAN RELATE
In her post, Kris shared what every parent goes through with having a newborn at home.
She wrote, "Love stronger. Days shorter. Nights longer. Home happier! [heart emoji] #TheCHOIs."
Kris further remarked that "sleep deprivation is real" and the experience is the "craziest mix of excitement and exhaustion" as they familiarize themselves with each other.
"It's quite challenging as me and @haileelucca are both doing things we've never done before.
"Inhaling the happy, exhaling the hard! [LOL emoji]. I wouldn't change it for the world."

DOCUMENTING HER JOURNEY TO MOTHERHOOD
Kris was generous in sharing with the public her life as a mom-to-be since announcing her pregnancy in early March 2023.
The StarStruck alum delighted her followers with photos showing her growing baby bump, displaying the joys and flaws of being pregnant.
She mused in one of her posts, “I feel like I haven't mentally prepared my brain for birth and motherhood!
"I have just so many 'unknowns.' Women are not born knowing all of these.
"But, I believe it is learned one cry at a time! I'm sure motherhood will be a whole other beast but I believe God has prepared me for it."
Kris also had her share of criticisms, with some netizens calling her out for "oversharing" her pregnancy journey.
What was meant to be a funny video — showing Kris acting like she was crying while looking at her pre-pregnancy photo wearing a pink two-piece swimsuit — was blasted by some people, questioning the actress if she regretted being pregnant.
"Blessed for the miracle of life, for what my body is doing, and loving my bump in this season which means my baby is growing!" wrote Kris in response to the bashing.
"It doesn't make you a bad mama or ungrateful to have feelings that aren't always sunshine and rainbows!"
Kris is married to businessman Perry Choi.
Like many engaged couples during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kris and Perry canceled their initial wedding plans because of the uncertainty brought by the health crisis.
The two finally tied the knot on September 25, 2021, at St. Alphonsus de Liguori Church in Magallanes Village, Makati City.
