The latest endeavor of LJ Reyes is an app called MApp, which she described a "mommy aide."
In a recent interview, the young mother enumerated the many things it can do.
1. It has a list of kid-friendly establishments.
LJ explained, “MApp kasi locator siya.
“Kung meron kang gustong hanapin na establishment for your kids or for your family, example.
She is proud to say that "it’s first of its kind, yung locator, it’s first in the Philippines."
2. It even has a list of restaurants with high chairs.
3. It's like a Google for parents.
“Meron din siyang first aid [para sa] mga common illnesses ng bata, dos and don’ts.
“Meron emergency numbers.
4. It has a calendar of events for mommies and kids.
“Like nung trick or treat, meron kaming events for Manila.”
MApp can be downloaded for free, and is available to android and IOS users.
It's been operational for over a month, and has been downloaded by a lot of moms.
So far, LJ is happy with the response of mommies.
“Ni-launch namin noong September 29, meron nang more than one month.
“They’re liking it."
FOR AKI. Her son with Paulo Avelino inspired her to come up with such app.
“Ang dami-raming apps ngayon, and then, sobrang lahat ng tao ngayon on mobile.
The idea came about last April.
“Ang bilis,” she said smiling.
“Yung mga ideas naman, it’s not difficult, gusto kong magawa agad.
MApp was registered under her real name Lourna Jane Reyes.
SELF-TAUGHT. Unknown to many, LJ is an Economics major.
She is done with her thesis, but still has a few units left.
For her business venture, she did self-study.
She also gets to share her ideas to Cat Ilacad, daughter of film producer Orly Ilacad and owner of Posh Nails, where LJ had a pampering session with some mommies last November 10.
