Christmas came early for showbiz couple Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna.
Their precious bundle of joy, Talitha Maria Luna Sotto, was born last November 6, three weeks before her mommy's due date.
Though Pauleen is a first-time mom, she can always rely on Vic's previous parenting experiences, culled from years of raising his kids from his previous relationships.
The veteran Eat Bulaga host seems to be all aglow with fatherly pride—a natural offshoot perhaps of his daily interactions with his youngest daughter.
The press teased Vic about changing Baby Talitha's diapers.
He replied, “Hindi na mahirap magpalit ng diaper ngayon, tape-tape na lang.
“Hindi na uso ang mga lampin ngayon na ginagamit.”
We also asked him how Pauleen is taking on her role as a first-time mom.
He proudly said, “Hands-on, hands-on si Pauleen.
“This is one of her dreams, to have a baby.
“Tuwang-tuwa naman siya and tuwang-tuwa naman ako for her.
“I’m proud of her na she’s really a hands-on mom.”
According to Vic, even his kids are ecstatic about their new sister.
He added, “Masaya naman sila pero mas happy ang mga apo ko dahil meron silang Tita na baby.
“Ang tawag nga nila, 'Hi, Tita Talitha!' Tita Tali. Kakatuwa.”
Being a dad again seemed to have given him a different glow these days.
He chuckled, “Palagi namang iba ang glow ko.
“Sabi ko nga, mas meaningful ang panahon ngayon.”
“This is her [Baby Tali's] first Christmas.
“As a matter of fact, may mga shirts na binili si Pauleen na may nakalagay na 'My First Christmas.'”
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had a short chat with Vic during the presscon for his 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Meant to Beh, held last December 5 at Annabel's, T. Morato in Quezon City.
