After almost two decades, actor Jomari Yllana became a dad again.
His non-showbiz partner Joy Reyes gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Thursday, July 12.
On Instagram, he posted the first photo of his son, and revealed his name: Jom Christiano Ayrton.
His caption read, "You make me smile, you make me sing. You take my breath away. We welcome you to our family Christiano Ayrton Yllana... Baby Jomjom #lovewins #greatestgift #bunso #itsabouncingbabyboy #thankyouLord #amdg."
Jomari and Joy have been together for more than two years.
The couple first announced that they're expecting a baby last November 2017, in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Before this pregnancy, Joy had lost two baby girls, whom Jomari named Angel and Sophia.
In an Instagram post, Joy then wrote, "Having 2 miscarriages in less that a year, my whole being is compromised of 50% trauma and 50% paranoia.
"I entered this hospital with so many fears balancing between creating a proper mindset in case it’s another disaster and trying to stay positive.
"It’s so frustrating to tremble there alone. But I reminded myself God is with me so I’m never alone.
"This is far worse than a rollercoaster ride anticipating a huge sudden drop… it’s more like waiting to be executed.
"Nonstop prayers were my only weapon. When I saw that tiny heart beating like crazy, I just lost it.. I love you so much, my baby!"
Jomari already has an 18-year-old son named Andre with his former wife Aiko Melendez.
