Bianca Lapus gave birth to her fourth son, Ethan, on her 34th week.

The celebrity mom revealed in her Instagram Stories and recent Instagram post that she has preeclampsia, a pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys.

According to an article on MayoClinic.org, "Preeclampsia usually begins after 20 weeks of pregnancy in women whose blood pressure had been normal."

If left untreated, the consequences could be fatal for both mother and baby.

The "most effective treatment" is to deliver the baby, but "it can still take a while" for the mother to get better.

Bianca felt like a first-time mom again.

In her recent post, the actress-turned-entrepreneur wrote at length about her current situation.

The actress-entrepreneur's baby is still at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
