Today, Empress Schuck is a happy mother, but she admitted having regrets about her unplanned pregnancy in 2015.
She was then 22, had just transferred from ABS-CBN to GMA, wherein she starred in Kailan Ba Tama Ang Mali, along with Max Collins, Geoff Eigenmann, and Dion Ignacio.
She gave birth to her daughter Athalia on September 27, 2015, and since then has become less visible in showbiz.
She said, "Siyempre, kapag nag-work na ako nun, pakonti-konti na lang.
The 26-year-old actress clarified, "Siguro, ang regret ko po, in a way, in terms of my career. Pero it’s a mistake na hindi namin plinano.
"Parang bakit? Dapat planado siya, dapat sacred siya. Ganun.
PEP.ph spoke with Empress at the presscon of Hiram na Anak last February 18.
She may have regretted the circumstances of her pregnancy, but her baby is her priority now.
"Yung baby namin is a blessing... that’s why kinontinue nga po namin, we know for a fact na it’s a blessing.
"Sa buhay ganun talaga, you can’t have it all. Half-half talaga iyan."
Empress is back to work and her new series, Hiram na Anak, will air on February 25, before Eat Bulaga!
