"They are foreseen to be the new way of life for both passengers and airport staff once travel restrictions are lifted and NAIA [Ninoy Aquino International Airport] resumes operations," sabi ng MIAA sa Facebook page nito noong May 6.

ONLINE BOOKING

Sa guidelines na inilabas ng Philippine Airlines (PAL) noong May 2 at Cebu Pacific noong May 11, it is recommended to book your flight through websites o mobile apps.

ONLINE FLIGHT CHECK-IN

Recommended din ang pag-check in online before your flight date upang mapabilis ang proseso at maiwasan ang human contact pagdating sa airport.

ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT

1. NO TRAVEL DOCUMENTS, NO ENTRY TO AIRPORT FACILITY

2. MANDATORY WEARING OF FACE MASKS

3. BODY TEMPERATURE WILL BE CHECKED

4. CONTACTLESS SECURITY CHECK

Ang security checks ay gagawin na lamang sa pamamagitan ng "no contact means" gaya ng walk-through x-ray machines, portable scanners, handheld metal detectors, at iba pa.

Lilimitahan na rin ang "pat down or manual frisking" sa mga panahong ito at gagawin na lamang kung kinakailangan.

5. SOCIAL DISTANCING SHALL BE STRICTLY OBSERVED

"When seating, a 'one seat apart policy' shall be enforced," dagdag ng MIAA.

BAGGAGE CHECK-IN

1. CHECK-IN HOURS BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT

2. ONLY ONE PERSON IS ALLOWED TO CHECK IN THE BAGGAGE

PRE-DEPARTURE AND BOARDING

1. COMPULSORY HEALTH DECLARATION

2. TOUCHLESS SCREENING

Pagdating sa boarding, "passengers will be required to hold out their boarding passes with the barcode facing the airline staff, for touchless scanning," sabi ng Cebu Pacific.

3. DISINFECTION THROUGH FOOT BATHS

IN FLIGHT

1. MANDATORY WEARING OF FACE MASKS THROUGHOUT THE FLIGHT

2. SELF-SERVICE WHEN STOWING BAGS AND DISPOSING TRASH

3. MIDDLE SEATS MUST BE KEPT EMPTY
