A lot of people are turning into sunset lovers, enjoying clear views of the sky during the quarantine.

One of them is netizen Beverly Ylarde, who captured her view of an eerily dramatic sunset in Mandaluyong at 6:20 p.m. of May 17, 2020.

"These were taken on the rooftop ng staff house namin in Mandaluyong," she said to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview via Facebook Messenger on May 18.

"Most of my friends know kung gaano ako ka-hook sa sunset.

"Every day simula noong quarantine, I'll make sure na sumilip sa labas to witness the sunset.

"Then kahapon (May 17), akala namin hindi maganda iyong sunset.

"At first, hindi ganoon kakulay iyong clouds until nagtagal, lalong na-highlight iyong clouds dahil sa sunset.

"Sobrang na-amaze kami ng mga kasama ko."

Beverly dashed up to their rooftop and photographed the breathtaking sight using her Nikon D5300 camera and Nikor 18-55 mm lens.

She related, "Iyong news is puro hate and negative since we are placed under lockdown.

"Pero, I was amazed by how God reveals one of the advantages nitong quarantine.

"Na-lessen iyong pollution and sobrang naging maganda iyong view."

With her photos, Beverly reminded everyone to always look up even when things are looking down.

"It reminds us to lift our heads and be grateful even in this kind of situation.

"And I really wanted to share iyong picture hindi para magpainggit sa mga nasa loob lang ng bahay, pero para malaman nilang God is moving in the midst of this crisis," she concluded.
