Maymay Entrata and Pia Wurtzbach have explored numerous countries, but still have quite a few destinations to cross off their travel bucket list.

For Maymay, South Korea remains on her dream travel destinations.

The Kapamilya talent explained, "Korea, kasi mahilig ako sa K-drama."

Meanwhile, Pia wishes to explore Paris.

The former Miss Universe titleholder told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press, "Sa akin naman Paris.

"Nakapag-France na ako pero diretsong Cannes Film Festival. Hindi ako lumabas para tignan ang Paris.

"So hopefully, very soon, ma-experience ko rin."

Other than the Philippines, which country holds a special place in their hearts, so much that they would consider it their second home?

Blushing slightly, Maymay responded, "Sa Canada."

Maymay grew bashful as she tried to explain why, prompting Pia to chime in, "Parang alam ko bakit."

Maymay chuckled and replied, "Opo, parang alam [niyo]."

Maymay considers Canada as her second home because that's where her boyfriend Aaron Haskell is presently located.

Following Maymay's answer, Pia chose Dubai as her second home because her husband Jeremy Jauncey is based there.

"Ako din, [sa Dubai], dahil sa [heart]," Pia expressed, forming a heart shape with her hands.

She added, "Dubai, o basta kung nasaan man sila, susunod na lang kami."

PEP.ph caught up with Pia and Maymay at the launch of Lay's Philippines' "Flavors of the World" series on August 4, 2023, at Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City.

PIA WURTBACH'S TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

The press also asked Pia and Maymay about their travel must-haves.

Pia believes it's a must to travel with a good camera or a smartphone with a high-quality camera and ample memory storage, so you can capture unforgettable memories through photos and videos.

"At kung phone man ang gamit mo, may memory na hindi ka magbubura-bura pa habang nandun ka na."

For those using smartphones, Pia suggests backing up files before traveling.

She explained, "Napaka-importante din nito... mag-back up ng files. Kasi nangyari na sa akin yun before na accidentally magbubura or mawawala.

"Tapos wala na lahat ng mga kinuha mong mga photos, mawawala na. So mag-back up ng files."

Pia's make-up kit is another essential item she always carries when traveling.

She said, "Medyo mase-stress ako kung maiiwan ko siguro yung mga make-up ko."

And when it comes to something she hopes to never forget or misplace during her travels, it's her crucial travel documents.

"Naku, sana huwag naman sana [ma-experience]. Yun yung napaka-importante, like a travel document or card, ganyan. Buti na lang wala pa naman [nae-experience na ganun].

"Ayoko magkamali... Pero pagka nag-travel naman, maraming mga matutulungin na mga tao.

MAYMAY ENTRATA'S TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

For her part, Maymay always brings her essential oils with her, especially during long-haul flights.

She explained, "Importante sa akin yung oil. Kasi may vertigo po ako."

Maymay remembered a time when she didn't have her essential oil on a long flight and felt sick during the trip.

"Madali akong nahihilo, lalo na po sa pagta-travel. Lalo na pag i-business class, buang talaga mam.

"Nag-economy ako talaga, 16 hours, [mahilo-hilo] na ako... Tapos, 'Hala sir, naiwan ko man yung oil ko.'"

She continued, "Tapos, ayun, ginawa ko po, [naduwal ako]. Sobra talaga.

"So, dapat next time, dapat limang essential oil ang dadalhin ko. Lalo na pag long-travel ako."

If you're planning to purchase one for your upcoming travels, consider trying these Danarra fragrance oils.

A 10 ml bottle is priced at PHP98 on Lazada and Shopee.

"Lalo na kahiligan ko talaga yun.... May mga times na lalo na pagka-travel po, hindi po gaano kataas yung pasensya ko.
