Kyline Alcantara goes out of the country for the first time.
The 16-year-old actress spends three days—from December 7 to 9—in Singapore, where the first Asian Academy Creative Awards was held at the Capitol Theatre last Friday night, December 7.
The young actress was a finalist in the Best Actress in A Supporting Role category, for her portrayal in the GMA-7 prime-time series Kambal, Karibal.
After the awards night, Kyline takes advantage of her free time to go around Singapore.
She ticks one item off her bucket list, and that's to visit a theme park abroad.
Kyline is like a kid a again upon seeing the welcome sign of Universal Studios Singapore.
The weather is hot, but, "buti na lang at nakasando po ako," she tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
She continues, “May isang matanda po kanina na nagpa-picture, inupuan pa po niya ako dun sa Naval Cafe. Nice!
“Nag-Shrek kami, hindi ko alam na may basaan palang nangyayari. Kalurkey!
“Kanina, may isang ride kaming ano... kaya lang, nagkakaroon daw ng technical problem, parang may umusok, kaya umatras na lang kami.”
A true theme-park fan, Kyline enjoys riding The Transformers, Revenge of the Mummy, Jurassic Park, and watching the show "Water World." She is in awe of the female cast members' stamina.
Also part of her itinerary are the following tourist attractions: Gardens By The Bay, which has a spectacular lights show, and the famous Merlion statue.
