Alfred was released from the hospital on the morning of November 6.

As it turned out, Alfred was diagnosed with high fever and tonsilitis. Maria, Bulacan where he spent All Souls' Day.

Nakapag-dub na siya for Gigil, ang launching movie ni Katrina Halili sa Regal Entertainment, which is also the directorial debut of Jun Lana. Kailangang mauna si Alfred dahil by November 12, lilipad siya papuntang Malaysia together with child actor Renz Valerio dahil doon kukunan ang first part ng bagong niyang GMA-7 afternoon soap tentatively titled Muli.

This will be co-produced by a Malaysian TV network. Hanggang December 6 si Alfred sa Malaysia so wala siya sa opening ng Gigil on November 22. Pagbalik niya sa bansa, magsisimula na rin siyang mag-promote for his Metro Manila Film Festival entry—also from Regal Entertainment—ang Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Ze Moveeh under the direction of Joel Lamangan. Siya ang leading man both ni Zsa Zsa Padilla as Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah and Rustom Padilla as Ada.

Tatapusin lang ni Alfred ang opening day ng Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah on Christmas Day, bago siya lumipad the next day patungong USA para sundan ang kanyang girlfriend na si LJ Reyes, whose birthday is on December 25.

January 5 na ang balik ng dalawa sa Pilipinas—just in time for them to go back to their respective afternoon soaps.
