'Wag Kang Lilingon' gets a B rating

Star Cinema and Viva Films' horror flick Wag Kang Lilingon—starring Kristine Hermosa, Anne Curtis, Marvin Agustin, Cherry Pie Picache, Raymond Bagatsing, Baron Geisler, Dimples Romana, Archie Alemania, and introducing Celine Lim—receives a B rating from the Cinema Evaluation Board. The film will get a 50% tax rebate.

"It's fun [to get a B rating]," says young director Quark Henares who directed "Uyayi," the first segment of the two-part film. "The first time I got it [a B-rating] with Keka, I was really excited. This one, okay, cool!"

Meanwhile, Direk Jerry Lopez-Sineneng—who directed "Salamin," the film's second segment—takes on this project with a new perspective. "I've always loved horror films," he explains. "It's my first [time to direct a] horror film, so binigay ko lahat dito."

The cast members who attended the red carpet premiere at SM Megamall last November 14 were all praises for the two directors.

"Tinitignan ko sarili ko, ‘ako ba ‘yon?'" asks TV host/comedian Archie Alemania. "Ibang Archie ‘yon. Ang galing kasi ni Direk Jerry. Umalalay talaga siya sa episode namin nina Kristine."

"[Tinakot niya ako,] Sobra!" exclaims Anne Curtis on her experience working with Direk Quark. Quark explains that he planted people on the set to scare Anne and get a realistic reaction of terror from her.
