The Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) Headmaster’s List is now complete with ten scholars after Joan Ilagan of Italy was expelled last Saturday, November 18, during the 10th expulsion night.
The remaining scholars under probation last week—Davey Langit of Baguio, Irish Fullerton of USA, and Jay-R Siaboc of Cebu—filled the last three spots of the Headmaster’s List.
Jay-R was the first to be saved by getting 44.98% of votes from the viewers while Irish was the choice of the teachers. In another tight race to determine who will be sent packing, the scholars voted Davey over Joan, 5-4.
The seven other scholars who made it to the Headmaster’s List a week before were Panky Trinidad of Cebu, Chad Peralta of Australia, Rosita Bareng of Dubai, Yvan Lambatan of Baguio, Yeng Constantino of Rizal, Ronnie Liang of Pampanga, and Eman Abatayo of Iloilo.
Based on their performances during the gala night—with a Christmas theme—the jurors (Louie Ocampo, Kitchy Molina, Leah Navarro, Rico J. Puno, and Wyngard Tracy) graded all scholars to determine who among them will be put under probation this week.
PDA Headmaster Jim Paredes handed out the class cards of the top 10 scholars on November 19 to find out the four scholars under probation and the Star Scholar of the week.
Davey is once again under probation this week with a grade of 8.01. He is joined by Rosita, 7.93; Ronnie, 7.66; and Yeng, 7.27—who got the lowest grade.
Panky is again this week’s Scholar of the Week—her fourth time—after getting the highest grade of 8.99 from the jurors.
PDA co-host Nikki Gil also announced a new rule for expulsion. Starting this week, expulsion will be purely based on text votes. The scholar who gets the lowest number of text votes will be automatically expelled.
Pinoy Dream Academy airs nightly on ABS-CBN.
