Stars grace Walk of Fame anniversary

Kuya Germs organized the local version of Hollywood's Walk of Fame in Eastwood City.

Where else can you spot Aga Muhlach, Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres, Robin Padilla, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Rudy Fernandez, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, not to mention Lea Salonga, Cesar Montano, Judy Ann Santos, Eddie Gutierrez with wife Annabel Rama, Herbert Bautista, Francis Magallona, and Pilita Corrales—in just one night?

Showbiz industry's biggest names gathered on the night of November 30—despite gusty winds and rainfall, the early signs of typhoon Reming—for the Eastwood Walk of Fame first anniversary, organized by German Moreno.

"Well, it's an honor for my name to be placed there," says Senator Bong Revilla, who sat with close friends Rudy Fernandez and Senator Jinggoy Estrada during the program. "Karangalan ko ‘yon. Kaya ang aim natin ngayon is to boost pa the movie industry, to help the movie industry para to do more movies.

It was no easy feat to plan such a star-studded event admits the Master Showman. As Kuya Germs (his nationally-recognized monicker) says: "Mahirap talaga. Nakaraos at salamat.

Although some celebrities like Maricel Soriano, Lorna Tolentino, and Phillip Salvador were engaged elsewhere, Kuya Germs—who helped a lot of showbiz personalities reach their star status—says he doesn't harbor ill feelings towards them.
