Young actor Mark Herras denied that he is courting Starstruck batchmate Katrina Halili. Reports said that the two StarStruck Batch 1 finalists were seen dating. "Di naman po date ‘yun. Parang lumabas kami, kasi lunch po ‘yun, e, kami po ng mga barkada namin. Ano po ‘yun, lakad barkada," Mark explained in Startalk last December 9.
Katrina Halili said the same thing. She said she and Mark never went out on a date. "Hindi po. Lumalabas [kami] minsan, nagkikita lang. Walang malisya, magkaibigan lang kami. Actually, sweet naman ako sa lahat ng mga kasama ko," said FHM's Sexiest Woman for 2006.
The Bad Boy of the Dance Floor added that Katrina has been his friend since their StarStruck days.
"Every time na may problema siya, may problema ako, kami lang nagdadamayan since StarStruck pa po ‘yon. Actually, barkada kami niyan. So hindi na po iba sa amin kapag nagkaroon ng ganyang issue," said Mark.
A few months ago, Mark was being linked to Nicole Anderson, the daughter of actress Jean Saburit. But Mark seemed to cut his courtship short.
When asked what happened to them, Mark explained, "Meron lang po kasing personal problem. Nalaman ko po agad. Nahihirapan lang ako. Mabait si Nicole, mabait ''yung tao. Walang problema. Ang problema lang, ako po hirap akong sumabay dun sa lifestyle nung tao. Nahihirapan akong sumabay."
Although the StarStruck's first Male Ultimate Survivor says he currently doesn't have a lovelife, he still does not have idle time. Already, he is in the thick of promoting his movie Super Noypi, one of the official entries in the 2006 Metro Manila Film Festival.
In this movie, he worked again with his former flame, Jennylyn Mercado, about whom he said he would never a relationship with again. "Kami ni Jen, sa ngayon po, ayaw na naming pasukin 'yung relationship na meron kami before. Kasi okay naman kami sa mga trabaho."
