"I know 100% that Sam Milby is not gay!" mariing sabi ni Say sa interview ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the press con-cum-Christmas party of ABS-CBN's Star Magic last night, December 11, sa 14th Floor ng ELJ Bldg.
When Borgy Manotoc, Geneva Cruz, and Rachel Alejandro guested sa show ni DJ Mo, they all mentioned Sam's name as an answer dun sa tanongkung sino sa palagay nila ay gay.
Sabi ni Say, "I'm sure! He's my friend and I've known him longer than DJ Mo. He's my closest friend in showbiz and I know 100% he's not gay. Every time that they mention in the papers and in DJ Mo's show... Siyempre, nahe-hurt ako kasi kilala ko ‘yung tao and I know that he's not gay."
Then she adds, "And you know, he's nice enough to not to say anything bad about the program or the person who's saying it. When I get the chance to talk to him, he will just say, it's okay..."
"Siyempre, he got parang upset," sabi ni Say. It's just a normal reaction lang.
"And we always tell him not to mind it. It's not true. Basta alam mo sa sarili mo kung ano ang totoo, it's all that matters. And I know that's not true talaga," depensa pa ni Say.
Nagawa na ba niyang itanong kay Sam nang diretso if he's really gay?
"No, because I don't need to ask him about that dahil alam kong hindi talaga siya gay. At saka, when I talked to him, he doesn't mind it, parang wala lang," sagot niya.
"Well, Sam is a very very good friend of mine and I've known him longer than them. I just hope that one day, they get to know Sam and give him a chance because he's not gay. Sam is one of the nicest persons that I know so he doesn't deserve all these. He doesn't deserve to be judged by people who don't even know him.
"I don't wanna answer some of his questions and I don't wanna be used in his radio program! I don't wanna be interviewed by DJ Mo because it's pointless. He's just using the artista to get ratings," diretsong sagot niya.
"Ako, wala na akong privacy because of PBB, pero ibibigay ko pa ba ‘yung konting natitirang privacy ko kay DJ Mo? My God! That's not right! And I know, he [Mo] will hate me for saying this but I don't care. I'm not scared, I'll say whatever I want.
"I don't know him. I don't want to judge him.
Say is in the cast of Regal Entertainment's Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Ze Moveeh, an official entry sa 2006 Metro Manila Film Festival, as one of the amazonistas of Pops Fernandez. She is also regularly seen in ABS-CBN's Super Inggo and Studio 23's Wazzup Wazzup.
