DJ Mo: "I'm not forcing anyone to guest in my show"

"I don't mind anyone saying they don't wanna guest," says DJ Mo Twister

In the past weeks, there have been reports that some celebrities have said they would not guest in the radio pragram Good Times—hosted by DJ Mo Twister, Andi, and Mojo Jojo. Kempee de Leon, Joey Marquez, Say Alonzo, Polo Ravales, and Richard Gutierrez have all said that they would not play the program's “Forbidden Questions.”

“I don’t mind anyone saying they don’t wanna guest,” says DJ Mo in an exclusive interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last December 13. “There are a lot of celebrities [who don’t want to guest in our show]... I don’t know why the media interviews other celebrities about my show.”

He adds, “If you don’t wanna guest in our show, don’t guest in our show. If you want, that’d be great, kasi hindi naman kami nagbabayad ng artista. They have to wake up 4 a.m. to be in our show. It’s something that I appreciate very much. I’m not forcing. I don’t have a gun to their child’s head. It’s just made for fun.”

DJ Mo—Mohan Gumatay in real life—admits that he does have a favorite guest.

“I really liked Borgy [Manotoc] because he was an all-around good show,” he muses. “Very spontaneous. Very fast. He’s very witty. He’s very funny.”

And his dream guest?

“I would like to have Kris Aquino on the show,” he says straight out. “It seems like it would be interesting.”
