Carrie Lee might get into trouble because of her kissing scenes in "Muli"

Malaysian beauty queen-actress Carrie Lee says that an onscreen kiss is not allowed in her country.

"First of all, this is my first TV drama so I was really nervous because all I did before was TV commercials and print ad modelling. I never did a movie or a TV drama before so it's all a first time for me, even the kiss," kuwento ni Carrie.

"At first, I was very much against it because I've never done it before, plus the fact that it's not allowed. But the production people of Muli explained to me that the kiss is very essential to the story," sabi ni Carrie.

"It was our director Mac Alejandre who really convinced me to do it. And he said that he will do the scene not in a vulgar manner but it will come out romantically. Well I trusted him and I did the kissing scene with Alfred. How was it? Well it was okay. It was my first time and I think I did okay!" sabay tawa pa niya.

"Before we did the shoot for Muli," sabi ni Carrie, "I already saw Alfred's pictures and he is such a handsome actor. I never really thought that I would have a kissing scene with him. I was just convinced that the kiss was really needed for the scenes.

Aniya pa, "But when I finally met Alfred personally, he was more than what I expected. He's not just a goodlooking man but he's also a gentleman. So I trusted him that much as my partner."

"I really don't know if they will allow the scene to be shown in Malaysia," ani Carrie. "It's very strict there so I really don't know what will happen. I am ready for what people will say about my kissing scene in Muli. I don't expect to be a big controversial celebrity back home because of that scene. Let's just wait and see what the reaction of my people about the scene.

"Personally, I see nothing wrong with it," patuloy niya. "But of course, I grew up in a very conservative society and even my family will be shocked watching me kissing an actor on TV!"

"I learned so much of your culture when I was working with Alfred and the rest of the production staff in Malaysia. We shot there for one month and we all talked about the Philippines and Malaysia," kuwento ni Carrie.

"That's why I was so excited to be here and see the country for myself. We shot a few scenes here and I was able to learn more about the Filipinos and your genuine hospitality. I became close with every actor on the set and all of them have shown me nothing but kindness," papuri pa niya.

Aniya, "I want to be a good actress in the future and by doing Muli, I can achieve some of my dreams to be that actress. I am still learning so many things and I love challenges. I want to be able to do more roles that are far from what I know now."

"I'm only friends with both Alfred and Victor because they are very nice to me and they showed me around Manila despite their hectic schedules," depensa ni Carrie.

"I really want to meet LJ because I only saw her in pictures and on television. She's a very pretty girl and I want to meet her personally. Alfred said that he would let us meet while I am here.

"As for Victor, he's also a nice person and he devoted lots of time to accompany me to different places here in your country. He's also a good friend, the same way with Alfred," sabi pa ng Malaysian beauty queen-actress.

Iba't ibang challenges daw ang pinagdaaan nila in three different countries (Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia) at inabot ng three months ang labanan.
