Rumor has it that young actress Cristine Reyes was hurt when she found out that Tanya Garcia was already two months pregnant with Pampanga Governor Mark Lapid's baby. Hurt to the point that Cristine allegedly snubbed Tanya during a taping of SIS when they both guested.
"Hindi naman talaga kami nagpapansinan. Hindi naman kami close," explained Cristine in an interview with S-Files. Incidentally, Cristine and Tanya are co-stars in the drama-adventure series Super Twins. Tanya had to take a leave of absence because of her delicate condition.
Before the Mark-Tanya relationship came out, Mark was reportedly courting Cristine. What exactly happened between her and Mark?
Hindi rin kami swak sa isa't isa dahil masyado pa akong bata," said Cristine, who turned 18 last January.
This only proved the Pampanga governor really courted Cristine, without much success.
"It's good for them [Tanya having a baby], kasi I think gusto na talaga matagal ni Mark na magkaroon ng baby."
Not many are convinced with Cristine's true feelings about the issue, so it was not a surprise when news came out that Ara Mina's younger sister is campaigning for Mark's political rival for the Pampanga governor post—Board Member Lilia Pineda.
