Mark Herras breathes new life into Vic Sotto's 'Fantastic Man'

The past and the future: Vic Sotto (left) developed the character of Fantastic Man for the 2003 Metro Manila Film Festival in a movie of the same title. Less than four years later, Mark Herras reprises the role for GMA-7's Sine Novela.

Last March 12, nag-pictorial na ang pinakabagong project ni Mark Herras, ang serialization ng 2003 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie ni Vic Sotto na Fantastic Man.

Binili ng GMA-7 ang rights sa pelikula ni Vic, na original concept ng comedian, na dinevelop for the yearly film festival as a follow-up for his 2002 MMFF entry, Mars Ravelo's Lastikman.

Mark Herras will play the role of Fantastic Man and he will have two leading ladies—as against one lang, si Ara Mina, sa movie ni Vic—StarStruck II Ultimate Female Survivor Ryza Cenon and StarStruck III Ultimate Female Survivor Jackie Rice.

Pasok din sa serye sina Paolo Contis, Keempee de Leon, Benjie Paras, Pen Medina, Ms. Gloria Sevilla, Miguel Tan Felix, and in a very special role, si Ariel Rivera.

Kakaiba ang Fantastic Man sa ibang Sine Novela being developed simultaneously like Sinasamba Kita. Ang iba kasing Sine Novela, magkakaroon ng soap format, as in five times a week telecast, whereas ang Fantastic Man, once a week lang ang telecast.
