Singer-actress Agot Isidro has made a choice for vice president, and it's Camarines Sur representative Leni Robredo.
On her Instagram post recently, Agot explained why she chose the vice-presidential candidate of the Liberal Party.
“I don't get paid to endorse a candidate.
“I choose wisely; considering every candidate and the position they are vying for,” Agot clarified at the start of her post.
She continued, “Leni is my choice from the very start.
“I liked her husband [the late Jesse Robredo] and what he stood for.
“I liked that she carefully considered running for this position and asked her kids for their opinion.
“When I read up on her background, I was impressed.”
Another factor that contributed to Agot's decision was Leni's performance during the vice presidential debate.
“[H]ow she answered the questions thrown at her tonight, I was blown away.
“She was composed, unfazed, direct to the point, and she made sense,” she said about the lone female candidate for vice president.
On the other hand, the Ang Probinsyano actress is still undecided on who she would vote for president.
“I am still unclear with my choice for president. But Leni Robredo is clearly and wholeheartedly, my VP,” said Agot.
