Annabelle Rama wants Yilmaz Bektas placed on the Bureau of Immigration's watch list and kept out of the Philippines for good.
This was in response to her son-in-law's alleged harassment of their family through incessant late-night phone calls and text messages containing grave threats.
In a statement by Agnes Maranan, legal counsel of the Gutierrez family, she said that they are currently studying the possibility of filing grave- threat charges against the Turkish businessman for all the disturbing text messages he sends to wife Ruffa Gutierrez and her family.
"We can use it as a basis for nine counts of grave charges against Mr. Bektas," Maranan said.
Last Sunday, June 10, in The Buzz, actress Ruffa Gutierrez publicly narrated her ordeal as victim of Yilmaz's alleged violence to host and talent manager, Boy Abunda.
"Even before we got married, sinasaktan na niya ako. Dati sampal lang, tulak lang," revealed Ruffa.
Yilmaz's violent tendencies, according to Ruffa, escalated since they got married in 2003.
The verbal abuse she and her family are getting at the moment apparently shows how violent and unstable her ex-husband is, said Ruffa.
"Magsuot na raw si Daddy [actor Eddie Gutierrez] ng sunglasses at black suit tapos manood ng [The] Godfather dahil hindi na niya makikita ang anak niya," said Ruffa.
Yilmaz, according to Ruffa, also threatened to kill her before her upcoming birthday on June 24.
"Sabi niya hindi ko na makikita ang 33rd birthday ko, na pwede siyang magbayad dito sa Pilipinas para patayin ako."
All of Yilmaz's text messages, according to Ruffa, are saved and stored in her mobile phone—as possible evidence in case their grave-threat suit against Yilmaz pushes through.
