Veteran actress Coney Reyes returns to acting via "Ysabella"

"Life is not perfect, but when it is committed to the Lord, then you have peace no matter what's going on," says Coney Reyes, who is returning to acting via ABS-CBN's new teleserye, Ysabella.

"Oh, she's very funny. I was telling nga, kasi grabe ‘yan. Since she was little, lagi 'yan mahilig sumiksik dito sa ganito ko [sabay turo sa kilikili niya]. So, until now, pag nakikita niya ako, talagang paglapit niya sa akin, sumusubsob talaga. Inaamoy talaga niya.

"Even when I was doing Munting Paraiso [her weekly drama series with Jericho Rosales]. May ibig sabihin ba ‘yan?

"Yes, my son LA, my firstborn and his wife. They've been married for almost three years already. I want to be called Lola. I'm proud to be Lola and it's such a joy to be a grandmother. It's something that I am really looking forward [to]. The whole family [is] really waiting for the coming of Lorenzo," masaya niyang pahayag.

"I don't think it's true. He's a pastor in church. Prove it first, di ba? My son is very adorable. He's a loving person. He's a God-fearing man," pagtatanggol ni Coney sa anak.

"He's already in first-year college. He graduated from Brent and now he's taller than his Papa [Vic]. He's 6'1". Yes, he was a basketball player at Brent. Now, he's in first-year college in Ateneo," pagbabalita ni Coney.

"Yeah, sina Oyo kasi, they also go to Victory Christian fellowship," pagkumpirma ni Coney. "There's really no problem naman, e. It's just people in their mind make problems. But everything is fine. God is good. God fixes everything. God is a God of order and peace.

"So, yes, my children have totally surrendered their lives to the Lord. Life is not perfect, but when it is committed to the Lord, then you have peace no matter what's going on."

"Directing? Kasi he makes a lot of video, mga private videos and for the church also. He makes that. We can't tell pa. It's still early for us to know. But he's a very talented young man," sabi ni Coney.
