Kapamilya talent JC Cuadrado goes to the other side

Y Speak host JC Cuadrado makes a bold career move as he joins the all-male group Studs, composed mainly of Kapuso stars. JC will also be part of Daisy Siete's new season.

Natatawa nga si JC nang kausap namin dahil for the first time ay kinakailangan niyang dumaan sa voice and dance lessons. Wala raw problema sa kanya ang pagsayaw dahil naging isa siya sa hosts noon ng Star Dance, ang reality-dance search ng ABS-CBN 2 with Marvin Agustin and Vanessa del Bianco.

"Wala rin namang problema sa singing because I can carry a tune. But it will be my first time to be this serious with singing and dancing. I only hope na maging okay lumabas lahat," sabi ni JC.

"I am still with Y Speak but we will be talking to them with regards sa mga plans ng manager ko for my career," saad ni JC.

"I just turned 21 years old and the people concerned with my career say that I have other good potentials besides hosting. I should be able to absorb a lot since I am still young in this business. I said naman na okay lang because I want to try different things.

He started his TV hosting via Star Dance, Showbiz #1, Breakfast, Y Speak, and Pinoy Dream Academy.

Kung sakaling maging maayos ang paglipat ni JC sa GMA-7, aside sa grupong Studs, he still wants to continue hosting a talk show at gusto rin niyang subukan na umarte sa isang drama series.

"I wasn't given a chance to really act in a regular soap drama," sabi ni JC, "though I was given a small but good role as Judy Ann Santos's boyfriend in Don't Give Up On Us under Star Cinema. I really want to try acting and it will be another challenge for me if ever it happens."
