JAKARTA, INDONESIA — Excited na si Pia Wurtzbach na makita ang kanyang sariling wax figure.
Si Pia ang kauna-unahang Filipino celebrity na magkakaroon ng wax figure sa Madame Tussauds Wax Museum sa Hong Kong.
Ngayon araw, March 26, sinabi ni Pia sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang press na hindi pa niya nakikita nang personal ang kanyang wax figure.
Ngunit bilib na bilib si Pia dahil kamukhang-kamukha raw niya ang kanyang wax figure kahit na sa litrato pa lang niya ito nakikita.
"I haven't seen it yet," pahayag ni Pia sa press conference ng #Lazada7Birthday Super Party sa Indonesia Convention Exhibition.
"I've only seen a picture of it. And it looks like... When I first saw the picture, I said, 'When did I take that photo?' Because it looks so real."
Nakasuot ang wax figure ng replika ng royal blue ball gown na isinuot ni Pia nang koronahan niya si Iris Mittenaere ng France. Sa Pilipinas ginanap noon ang Miss Universe 2016 pageant.
"It's gonna be so nice. The wax figure is wearing a blue dress and then I'm gonna be wearing the same dress.
"So I'm gonna be posing right beside it so you can see how realistic it looks."
Ang Dubai-based fashion designer na si Michael Cinco ang gumawa ng gown na isusuot ng wax figure ni Pia.
Sa Thursday, March 28, opisyal na ilu-launch sa Pilipinas ang wax figure ni Pia.
Kaya naman excited siya na ang kanyang Filipino fans ang unang makakakita ng wax figure niya.
"I'm really excited. In fact, we did, like, an online contest for the fans wherein they have to post a picture of themselves doing their best beauty-queen pose.
"They can tag their friends also and use the hashtag #PiaMadeIconic.
"And then through that, we select winners and we get to invite everyone to join the meet and greet."
