Charo Santos on lasting relationship with businessman husband Cesar Rafael Concio Jr.: "Nirespeto niya yung pagkababae ko, yung pagkatao ko. He allowed me to pursue my dreams. He allowed me to fly."

"Gosh! He hasn’t even said anything remotely romantic until our first dinner.

"He's been separated, so I asked him if he was thinking of marrying again.

"And he said, 'Yes. In fact, I was thinking of marrying you.'"

"Wala, wala! Very spontaneous."

HAPPY MARRIED LIFE

So I’m just really paying tribute to the man who loved me unconditionally."

"I guess he's a selfless man, and he was very, very happy for my successess. Yung ganung klaseng asawa ay di madamot.

"Nirespeto niya yung pagkababae ko, yung pagkatao ko.

"He allowed me to pursue my dreams. He allowed me to fly.

"He allowed me to commit my mistakes. He still loved me unconditionally."

BE A FAIR-MINDED LEADER

1. "Leadership is never about you. It's about the people you serve."

2. "Don't take things personally."

3. "This too shall pass if you're going through some challenges."

4. "Learn to look at things with detachment so that you'll be able to make objective decisions. The considerations may come in later but at least you make a fair and objective decision."

NO TO BLAME GAME

5. "Learn from your mistakes, but don't swell on your mistakes. Move on.

Yung parang we tend to blame and point a finger at the world.

8. He taught me also the sense of accountability. Kapag may mali ka mali ka.
