Sharon Cuneta up front on new movie "London Caregiver" and hubby Kiko

Parang he respects that I have... he respects my work. We talked about that and that was made very very clear before I married him. Otherwise, forget I married my husband kung alam kong hindi siya supportive," says Megastar Sharon Cuneta about her husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

"Alam mo, i-pack-up na natin pag nag-umpisang tumawa. But you know, it's funny... When I was in Grade Six in St. Paul's Pasig, his [Direk Chito] sister was a schoolmate. She was on a higher grade. For some reasons, she was very, very nice to me and I never forgot her name, Isabelle.

"And then, when I met Direk Chito and I got to work with him sa MMK, nagulat ako, nalaman ko that we grew up on the same street in Dasma [Dasmariñas Village, Paraiso St.] also. Imagine? And then now, we're working together. We're ano, e, madalas kaming magkita pero hindi kami nagkakaroon ng long conversations, except once nag-date kami sa Podium for this movie.

"Kasi when it's a very simple scene, you have to be careful you're not overacting. When I was younger, I used to do a lot. When it's a scene naman na nagwawala ka or nagagalit, or nakikipag-away or umiiyak, ah, you have to really sit down and think about the scene as not something that stands alone. You have to go to your script and talk to your director and ask if this is coming from what sequence again and going to what sequence so you know the flow and you're consistent with your character's emotions."

NEW LEADING MAN.

Totoo ‘to ha... ‘John, my God, ninenerbiyos ako!'

E, may video assist, may monitor, yung papanoorin yung kaka-take lang... Sabi niya, ‘Patingin ako niyan, Direk. Thirteen years kong hinintay ‘yan!' So, hayun!"

SHOOTING IN LONDON.

"He promised na he'll try to bring the kids," sabi ni Sharon. Train lang ‘yon, it's like a two-hour train ride... 'Tsaka naman ako nandun. So, I told she might wanna follow."

Parang he respects that I have... he respects my work. We talked about that and that was made very very clear before I married him.

Sanay raw kasi itong gumalaw on his own at napakasimpleng tao nito.

"So, nakaka-frustrate for me na parang gusto mong silbihan, e, sanay nang may sariling plano sa buhay. Very simple needs talaga.

Kiko]. Sa iba, hindi. In the sense na pareho kami ng values sa pagpapahalaga at papapalaki sa mga anak namin. Parehong-pareho kami in the sense na hindi kami mahilig lumabas. You can lock me talaga in my, not even my house, my room man lang for a whole year. Just leave me alone with my books, my laptop, and my DVDs, I'll be fine. Of course, my children," pahayag ni Sharon.
