Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez will face each other at long last

"That's why I don't mind questions about Pops. ‘I don't want any questions about Pops.' I could do that, too. Then we'd all be quieter than we already are," says Martin Nievera about why he's not afraid to answer questions about his ex-wife Pops Fernandez (inset).

Kuwento ni Martin, "She asked first [to meet]. Because to be consistent, she doesn't like texting. She wants to talk face to face. We're going to talk for the first time this evening."

Ayon kay Martin, "I'm hoping it's going to be positive. It's going to be what Robin is doing, what Ram is doing. And what I should be doing. What I haven't been doing. What we won't be doing."

"We're texting now," sabi ni Martin. "Since the last time that I announced that we were exchanging ‘Happy New Year.' She texted me to remind me that we're not yet okay. Because it came out wrong, I think when we had that presscon, it came out wrong. ‘Coz everybody was going ‘Great! They're friends again.' And all I said was we exchanged Happy New Years.

"It's a big deal for me. But she's kinda upset that it was announced when we haven't even spoken face-to-face. So, our face-to-face talk is this evening. So, we're having a presscon before our face to face. Which is good. She's been wanting to have a face-to-face. We're having a face-to-face. Whatever she wants," pagtatapos ng Concert King.
