Former Viva Hot Babe member Sheree presented herself to the public with boyfriend Gian Magdangal on StarTalk last Saturday, February 9, to end rumors that she is hiding her pregnancy. The couple have been together for almost a year already. The former Viva Hot Babe, wearing a brown dress, still looked sexy despite the big bulge on her tummy.
Sheree said that it was already on the fifth month that she discovered she is pregnant. She said that she was still able to do a lingerie show because her tummy was still flat. Sheree is now on her seventh month of pregnancy.
"Actually, nagkaroon na rin kaya ko siya [Sheree] tinanong. Parang na-feel ko lang na parang may kakaiba na. Hindi ko lang alam kung ano," Gian said when asked if he had any inkling that his girlfriend was pregnant.
Sheree admits that she hardly kept track of her health status. "Kasi siguro hindi rin ako ready noon. 'Tapos, bumili na ako ng test. Yung isa, hindi pa ako naniwala. Hindi, hindi, hindi. Naka-lima ako na preg test," the former Viva Hot Baba narrated.
Gian added, "Naisip ko kaagad yung relationship namin. Iniisip ko yung responsibility na I have now, now that I'll be having family. Yun yung mga una kong naisip. Hindi ko iniisip yung fans. Hindi yun yung naisip ko kaagad. Saka na lang namin naisip 'yon."
Sheree also said that she is not afraid of the consequences of her pregnancy. "Ready na din ako. Mahilig kasi ako sa baby at gusto ko na din talaga," she said.
Gian added, "We've always been thinking about it even before this came naman. Kasi yun naman talaga yung papupuntahan talaga ng relationship namin. We're making our relationship stronger. Kumbaga, in a way, we see it as something na we re-affirmed na lang about our relationship."
The Philippine Idol runner-up also said that there is no wedding date as of yet since they plan to focus their energies on the welfare of their child, who will be the first grandchild for both of their parents. But the couple clarified that they plan to get married sooner or later.
StarTalk asked them about their promise to each other.
Sheree was first. She said, "Ako, I'm really thankful na that you're the father of my child. I'm thankful kasi you're really, really very responsible person. And you've really been taking care of me since the first day that we were together. And I hope you won't change ‘til forever. I hope you'll always be like that."
For his part, Gian said:"For the mother of my child and my soon to be wife, siyempre, I love you very much. You know that I'll always be here. I'll always be taking care of you. And I promise to be responsible to her and her family."
The couple expect their baby to be delivered on the last week of April or early May.
