Singer-actorsand real-life sweethearts Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez flew to Bangkok,Thailand, last Tuesday, February 18, for Ogie's shows and belated Valentine treatfor Regine and her family.
StarTalkwas able to meet up with Ogie when he arrived at the airport alone last Friday,February 22, to attend to his duty as a Pinoy Idol judge. Updates on theBangkok trip, as well as his opinion on Regine's rumored plans oftransferring to ABS-CBN, were generously given out by the tired but accommodatingartist.
"Enjoykami," mused Ogie. "First time namin dalawa sa Bangkok, kasi hindi kami talaganakapag-celebrate dahil nag-work ako.
Newshas it that the annulment case between him and Michelle Van Eimeren was finallygranted. Ogie, however, denied this.
"Huwagnatin pangunahan ang hustisya," he said politely. "In fact, I can't really talkabout it. I really can't comment about it."
Changingthe subject, StarTalk asked for Ogie's reaction toRegine's plan to move to the Kapamilya network.
"Kasi, career niya ‘yan, e. I don't think it's right that I answer for her.
Whenasked how he is taking these transfer rumors, Ogie said, "Halata naman sadamdamin ko kung ano ang gusto ko, di ba?
Asa parting remark, he said, "Huwag na natin pangunahan si Regine.
