PEP EXCLUSIVE: Sharon Cuneta talks about her first film in four years

"Before I shoot my scenes, I already asked the help of Direk Chito.I told him that I already feel jaded, maybe because it's quite a longtime since the last movie I did [Crying Ladies, 2004]. Gusto kong maramdaman atmaunawaan talaga where my character is coming from," says Sharon Cuneta about her role in the movie Lon

"We'll be leaving second week of March for London, to shoot the remaining 80 percent of the current project which I'm doing right now for Star Cinema," pagbabalita ni Sharon tungkol sa pelikulang London Caregiver (working title).

"We're supposed to shoot some scenes in Prague. Kaya lang, ang kasunduan ng authorities doon, we can only work if we can hire some of their people there. Hindi ko lang alam how they go about it, pero 'yon ang kasunduan.

"Kaya lang, we're already around 20, including the cast and crew. Palagay namin, lalong lalaki ang production cost kapag ganoon ang mangyayari. So the group, headed by our director [Chito Roño] decided to shoot na lang all the scenes in London," kuwento ng Megastar.

And in cooperation of some group of Filipino caregivers there, mukhang mas magiging maayos at tuluy-tuloy ang shooting nila sa nabanggit na lugar.

"Before I shoot my scenes, I already asked the help of Direk Chito. I told him that I already feel jaded, maybe because it's quite a long time since the last movie I did [Crying Ladies, 2004].

"You see, my life has been going on fine and smoothly. I can't ask for anything more. Kaya medyo nag-worry ako. Gusto kong maramdaman at maunawaan talaga where my character is coming from.

"Basing on the reactons, I guess I was able to deliver. I will be with John Estrada, Rica Peralejo, Makisig Morales, and others.

"I think they also auditioned some British actors to portray some minor parts. At saka I had a personal trainor on caregiving. Talagang para na akong nag-medical practice just to be able to give justice to my role," pahayag ni Shawie.

KC & RICHARD. Ang usap-usapan siyempre sa ngayon ay ang tungkol sa anak ni Sharon na si KC Concepcion, who's reportedly going out with Richard Gutierrez.

"Ay, naman! No problem with me," bulalas ni Sharon.

"I don't think they have to hide anything. Kaya lang, just imagine their schedules. Parehong grabe ang pressures ng buhay nila, at para makapag-enjoy sila with each other's company, hindi nila kailangang magmadali talaga.

"I appreciate Richard's sincerity. They inspire each other. Tita Annabelle [Rama] is already like a mom to me, an elder sister, and Daddy Groovy [Eddie Gutierrez] is no exception. Parang kapamilya na talaga.

"As a person, Richard has good breeding. Kasi kung iba lang 'yan, mangungulit na 'yan in wooing my daughter. Pero siya na ang nagsasabi kay KC, they have to enjoy those moments na magkasama sila, kasi bihira 'yon. Hindi naman puwedeng lagi silang magkasama at magkausap, gustuhin man nila.

"Kumbaga, as a mom, nakakahinga naman ako nang maluwag.

"I don't have anything to do with her career. I mean, I can support my daughter anytime, pero nasa kanya 'yon kung kailan niya gusto.

"Kasi 'yan ang nilinaw ko sa manager [Sandra Chavez] niya, na we can't be package deal. The last time we did a commercial together, yung Eskinol. And it came pa after a series of TV commercials which my daughter did on her own.

"It's just fair for my daughter to prove things first on her own, which is what she's actually doing," pagtatapos ni Sharon.
