Sharon Cuneta likes doing art projects with daughters Frankie and Miel

"You won't become a known andtrusted endorser unless your public knows you're telling the truth. I'm not perfect but I don't tell lies. I ask a lot ofquestions, ang arte-arte ko. Kasi mahirap na, e. My face will be stuck on theirproducts forever," says Sharon Cuneta about being a popular endorser.



Masayang ibinahagi ng Megastar na siSharon Cuneta ang bonding moments nila ng dalawa niyang anak kaySenator Kiko Pangilinan na sina Frankie, 7, at Miel, 3. Sa isang hapunang kasamaang piling entertainment press, tuwang-tuwang ikinuwento ni Sharon ang hiligniyang gumawa ng art projects kasama ang mga bata.

"We like papel, scissors, andglue," kuwento ni Sharon. "We like creating things with our hands.Before I left for Paris, we made paper lanterns. Binutasan namin, then I put areading light inside. I turned off all the lights in the dressing room, 'See!'Sabi nila, 'Mommy, let's make more!'"

Ang naturang hapunan, na ginanap noongJuly 15 sa Discovery Suites sa Mandaluyong, ay nagsilbing daan na rin upangipagmalaki ni Sharon ang iniendorso niyang Lucky Me instant noodles. Angbagong kampanya nito ay ang "No Artificial Preservatives Added(NAPA)." Sa ngayon ay ume-ere na sa radyo at telebisyon ang mga commercialni Sharon.

Sinabi ni Mega na sa kanilang pamilyaay importante ang pagkain nang tama. Hindi raw umiinom ng softdrinks sinaFrankie at Miel, at nililimitahan din niya ang pagkain nila ng junk foods.Kaya't gayon na lang ang pasasalamat niya sa bagong kampanya ng Lucky Me.

"When we did Lucky Me, we tookinto consideration the nutrition value," sinabi ni Sharon. "And evenbefore the NAPA, all the preservatives [of Lucky Me] were within theRecommended Daily Allowance. So can you imagine my galak when this campaignstarted? Bilang isang nanay at asawa...it's a cheap alternative considering allthe commodities which cost [much] and prices have gone up already."

Dagdag pa ni Sharon, na magdiriwangng kanyang 30th showbiz anniversary ngayong Agosto, masuwerte raw siya at nasaposisyon na siyang puwede niyang tanggihan ang ibang nag-aalok sa kanyangmaging endorser. Alam niya kasing maiuugnay na ang pangalan niya sa produkto,kahit mag-expire na ang kanyang contract bilang endorser nito.

Sa kanilang mga anak, si Frankie ang mahilig sa isda, samantalang si Miel namanay walang pinipiling pagkain. Ang panganay naman ni Sharon na si KC ay halos walongtaon na ring pesco-vegetarian, na ang ibig sabihin ay hindi siya kumakain ngkarne ng mammals at ibon.

Mahilig din ang dalawang bata sagulay. Katunayan, sa isa nilang bahay sa Laguna, talagang excited ang mga batasa pagpitas ng mga sariwang gulay.

Mahilig din daw mag-camping angmag-aamang sina Kiko, Frankie, at Miel.

"They do it in our backyard.They have a really big tent, they sleep overnight. Mayroon pa silang gasera,the one that's used for camping, and they cook pork and beans, eggs, the wholething. Sometimes they would eat by the pool, with banana leaves laid out,"kuwento ni Sharon.

Binigyang halaga rin ni Sharon angpagkain nang sama-sama. Ito rin daw kasi ang natutunan niya mula sa kanyang mgamagulang, ang former Pasay City Mayor Pablo Cuneta at si Elaine Cuneta.

"When we're together, then wehave to eat together. It's kind of our rule...because I also grew up like that.My father and mother's room had a little dinette, so whenever we'd all be home,automatic doon kami kakain."
