FIRST READ ON PEP: Governor Vilma Santos says no to cameo role in "Miss X" remake

Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos has turned down the offer of director Gil Portes to do a cameo role in the remake of her 1980 film Miss X, which will be reprised by Katrina Halili.

Batangas GovernorVilma Santos sadly passes up the offer to be part of the remake of Miss X.

Bubbly si Governor Visa pagbati ng mga "nagbigay-pugay" na press sa kanya sa birthday party niCristy Fermin last Tuesday, July 22, sa Metro Bar; giving each a hug and a kissand calling everyone by name, a trademark na konting artista lang angnakagagawa, na matandaan ang pangalan ng mga manunulat.

Dahil noong araw rinna yun nagpa-presscon OctoArts Films, kung saan ilu-launch si Katrina sa remakeng Miss X to be directed also by Gil Portes, ito agad angtinanong namin kay Governor Vi.

"Wala namang kaso saakin yun," say ni Governor Vi, who has never been against remaking her movies beit on TV or on the big screen again.

Nagpadala na nga raw sila ng feelers kayGovernor Vi to have a cameo role in the remake of her 28-year-old film.
