Pinoy boxing champ Manny Pacquiao is now the third preferred senatorial candidate, according to the latest Business World-SWS pre-election survey.
In the previous survey, Pacquiao was tied with Migz Zubiri and Leila de Lima for the fifth to seventh spot.
But in the latest survey, the United Nationalist Alliance senatorial candidate is following the lead of Frank Drilon and Tito Sotto, who are in the first and second spots, respectively.
Sharon Cuneta's husband, Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, dropped to fourth place.
On the other hand, Sen. Ralph Recto, husband of Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, continues to slide down.
From No. 3 in February, Recto is now ranked 12th to 13th along with Valenzuela Congressman Win Gatchalian.
On the other hand, celebrities who are running for a senatorial seat are not included in the 12 preferred candidates of voters who participated in the pre-election survey.
Mark Lapid is on the 16th spot; Isko Moreno is 18th; Edu Manzano is 19th; and Alma Moreno is tied with Allan Montano for the 23rd and 24th spot.
LENI TAKES THE LEAD. Meanwhile, Camarines Sur Third District Representative Leni Robredo now takes the lead in the vice presidential race, according to Business World-SWS pre-election survey.
In its previous surveys, Senators Bongbong Marcos and Chiz Escudero were the top choices of respondents.
However, after the two vice presidential debates, respondents have put Liberal Party's VP candidate on the top spot, leading Marcos by two percent.
DUTERTE IS STILL NUMBER 1. There seems to be no changes in presidential preference of voters who participated in the pre-election survey.
Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte remains the top choice of the respondents.
Following him are Senator Grace Poe and former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas, while Vice President Jejomar Binay dropped to fourth place.
