Ruffa Gutierrez on "tampuhan" issue: "I’m sure maayos din ’yon."

"Ang mommy ko, busy nga siya sa paglalagay ngitlog sa ilalim ng lamesa, naloloka ako, para hindi umulan! Everywhere we go, sa bahay, lahat ng klaseng itlog nasa ilalim ng mga lamesa," Ruffa Gutierrez describes hermother Annabelle Rama during the first day of the KC Concepcion-Richard Gutierrezmovie For the First Time.

In the middle of the "tampuhan" issue between talent managerAnnabelle Rama and GMA-7 Senior Vice President for Entertainment MediaWilma Galvante, Ruffa Gutierrez still believes that everything will be settledwhen the right time comes.

After the press conference of I Love Betty La Fealast night, August 28, at the ABS-CBN compound, Ruffa shared her thoughts about thesaid tampuhan, which began after GMA-7 gave a special birthday celebration toDingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera last August 27. This was also the first day of KC Concepcion and RichardGutierrez's movie For the First Time under Star Cinema, ABS-CBN's film company.

Annabelle considered this as "sabotahe," while Wilma simplyexplained that it was the only available date presented to them by the AranetaColiseum management. (Click here to read related article)

For Ruffa, she thinks that this issue came out because ofthe stress that everybody felt before the showing of For the First Time.

"You know, there were so many intriga, a lot of people weretrying to put Richard and KC down. Imean, it was a very stressful time, especially hindi pa halos tapos 'yongpelikula."

Now that it's already shown in theaters, Ruffasuggested that everybody should just be happy with the moviegoers' feedback.

She said, "Now na kumita na 'yong pelikula, talagangpinakita ng mga fans ni Richard and KC ang kanilang full-force sapelikula. I think let's just all bepositive na lang.

"You know, kung may tampuhan mang naganap, it's not becausemy mom or my brother are threatened by anybody. It's just the fact na sana kung may gawin silang project, magsuportahan na lang, di ba? Pinatunayan naman nila na kahit na may tapatan isyu, talagangtinangkilik pa rin ng mga fans and pelikula."

Ruffa added, "Right now, let's just be magnanimousin victory. Let's be humble, let's begracious. And dapat magpasalamat tayona talagang kumikita 'yong pelikula. Ang kung may tampuhan man, I'm sure maaayos din 'yon."

And to those who continue to sow intrigue, Ruffaappealed, "Nakikiusap din ako sa lahat ng mga intrigero—panay tawag, panay textkay Mommy—let's just leave her alone right now because she's so busy. Iniikot niya lahat ng mga sinehan at mgasimbahan para magpasalamat."

KC-RICHARD LOVE TEAM. Although the movie has proved that there's good chemistry betweenRichard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion, many are still wondering if this reelpartnership is already a real deal.

Before the media could squeeze out information from Ruffa, she said, "Wala rin silang sinasabi sa akin. Parang sa inyo, nanghuhula lang din ako kung ano ba talaga—sila na ba o hindi? Kasi ayaw ko silang i-pressure. Kasi, ang mga tao, kapag pine-pressure sila, the more na naiinis sila."

Ruffa advised, "Let's just leave thebagets alone para ma-develop ang friendship."

Meanwhile, Ruffa clarified that KC being the daughter ofMegastar Sharon Cuneta is not the reason her family loves the young actressso much.

"Despite her being the daughter of Sharon—pinapanood namin, hinahangaan ngtao—si KC is so down-to-earth. When Ifirst met her, talagang siya ang nagsisilbi sa akin ng mga Coke, ng mgapeanuts, you know. She's like that tome, she's even like that to my alalay, she's like that to everyone. So, alam mong hindi fake, alam mong hindiplastic.

"Ang importante sa akin, talagang namana niya kay Shawie[Sharon's popular name in showbiz] ang pagiging magalang, sa lahat ng tao ma-PRsiya. So, for me, importante sa akin'yong ganun, mabait at maganda ang ugali."

NO TO LONG-DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. During the conversation, Ruffa said she was surprisedto know that her friend Joyce Jimenez has already married her Filipino-American boyfriend Paul Eli Egbalic.

"Actually, hindi ko nga alam na ikakasal siya," Ruffarelated to the media. "I just found outlately na lang na ikinasal na pala si Joyce. I'd like to congratulate her and sana ang marriage niya hindi magingkatulad ng marriage ko. Sana foreverand ever, amen, di ba?"

Upon hearing from a reporter that Joyce plans to return to the Philippines, leaving her husband in Los Angeles, Ruffa gave her unsolicited advise addressed not only to Joyce, but also to those who want to have a long- distance relationship.

"Ang masasabi ko lang sa mga couples who have a long-distance relationship, it's always nice that you're in the same house andyou're in the same country. Long-distancerelationship, in the beginning, is very exciting. But at the end of the day, kapag mag-asawa na kayo, importantetalaga na nasa iisang bansa kayo."

With this, the media was prompted to ask an update about herand Turkish husband Yilmaz Bektas.

"Quiet na kami and thank, God," replied Ruffa. "Kung mayroon mang hindi pinagkakasunduannamin or kung mayroon kaming communication, I'd rather keep it toourselves. You know, I think it'sbetter."

Lastly, she said, "I think, for Yilmaz and I, it's best tofix things privately. Kasi, kapagmaraming masyadong publicity, nagagalit siya, e. Gusto niya ng tahimik lang ,so I wanna give in to his wish. It's also good for me also kasi that's theprocess of moving on.

"I think Yilmaz and I are both mature and if there'sanything na dapat pag-usapan, whatever it is, basta for the best interest of our kids, Ithink that's what we should follow."
