Judy Ann Santos wants tax-evasion case to be over before she marries

Judy Ann Santos is eagerly awaiting the return of her fiancéRyan Agoncillo so she can talk with him regarding the tax-evasion case that sheis facing. The actor-TV host is currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to shootABS-CBN's reality show Pinoy Fear Factor.

Judy Ann Santos's happiness over her movie Ploning—which was chosen as the Philippines' bet in the best foreign language film category of the Oscar Awards—ismarred by the fact that she still has to face the tax-evasion charges filedagainst her by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in 2005.

"I haven't talkedto my lawyers yet," said Judy Ann in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). "I'll be having a meeting with them later tonight. Wala namanakong tinalikurang problema kahit noon pa man."

Was she shocked by the decision of the Supreme Court inrejecting her petition?

The actress says that she is placing her trust in Godregarding this case. "Meron naman akong accountant ever since...

Has she forgiven the people who caused this inconvenience?

"Ayoko na siyang isipin," Juday said. "Pinapagpasa-Diyos ko na lang sila. Kumbaga,mag-isa kong laban ito. Wala akong iaagrabyadong tao kahit pamilya ko,although I know for a fact that my family, my friends and Ryan [Agoncillo, her boyfriend] willalways be behind me.

Judy Ann wants the case to be resolved so that her mother,Mommy Carol, would finally get peace of mind.

MISSING RYAN. Juday has already informedRyan about the news and he advised her to talk with her lawyers and clarifywhat happened.

How does she cope now that her fiancé Ryan Agoncillo is inArgentina shooting for his reality show Pinoy Fear Factor?

She has said in the past that she wants her tax-evasion caseto be over and done with before she gets married.

With this legal issue, does it mean that their weddingwill not happen in the near future?

"E, madadaan sa usapan ‘yan. Marami pang dapat gawin—bahay, negosyo, at magpapapayat muna ako," Juday said.
