After keeping her silence for almost a week, controversialactress Gretchen Barretto finally speaks up about the rumor that she was kickedout by long-time partner Tonyboy Cojuangco from their Dasmariñas mansion.
Gretchen attended Senator Bong Revilla's 42ndbirthday last Wednesday, September 24, at C3 Events Place in Greenhills, SanJuan. It was there that 24 Oras' Lhar Santiago was able to interview her regarding therumor.
The controversy-magnet actress kept silent and had to stayin the house for 10 days because she was sick. But Gretchen said, "'Pag ako pinalayas, ako mismo angmag-a-announce na pinalayas ako at umiiyak-iyak na ako sa TV. Hindi akopuwedeng palayasin dahil niregalo sa akin yung bahay na ‘yon. Hindi naman siya [Tonyboy] namimigay atbabawi, di ba?"
Gretchen admitted that she got irritated by the reportthat she was kicked out by Tonyboy.
"Actually, Tony was very affected," she said. "Kasisabi niya, bakit daw pinapalabas na parang masama siyang tao? Napakadisente niTony para sabihin na nagpapalayas siya ng tao."
There are also rumors that Gretchen is two-monthspregnant, but the actress just looked at her tummy and said, "I'm very happywith one daughter, Dominique, and I have a lot of adopted children! So, alammo, I don't need to have more. But if I do, it's okay also, it's a blessing."
With so many controversies that Gretchen had been through, shesaid that she already mastered the art of "pandededma." So she had this to sayabout reports linking her to different men: "As long as it's true, I don't mindif I'm linked. ‘Pag hindi totoo, hindi ako natutuwa."
