Lovi Poe on being spotted again with Jolo Revilla: "Kahit ano pa ang sabihin, kaibigan ko pa rin si Jolo."

"Ang sa akin lang, I'mold enough to know my responsibilities. I told a million times before that Joloand I are just friends, at kung hindi naniniwala ang mga tao roon, wala namanakong magagawa," says Lovi Poe about her relationship with Jolo Revilla.

In WalangHanggang Paalam, Lovi plays the role of a bewildered teener whoelopes with her boyfriend (Joem Bascon)and in a playful twist of fate, meets her long-lost Japanese father (Jacky Woo).

"Actually, angnag-influence sa akin to try indie, si Glaiza [de Castro] who I worked with in Kaputolng Isang Awit." sabi ni Lovi nang makausap ng PEP (PhilippineEntertainment Portal).

Patuloy niya, "Glaizais into indie films, and I know that she got nominations also, kaya naisip ko,gusto ko ring subukan. It's really fun daw.

"Every time na maynag-o-offer ng indie, and then I get to read the script, kahit paano, nagkakainteres ako. Kaya lang, talagang namimili rin ang manager ko [LeoDominguez]."

Sa industriya raw, kapagna-identify sa indies, nagkakaroon ng discrimination sa kanila, lalo na kungmainstream projects ang pinag-uusapan.

"Others always havetheir opinions. Sa akin, kung ganoon man, basta ang nakikita ko riyan, verychallenging ang gumawa ng isang indie project, especially if you know thatit's a rare chance for somebody like me to do something different. Malayo saginagawa ko sa TV.

"I don't look at itthat way. Kahit mainstream 'yan or indie, lahat ng taong involved diyan, theyreally work hard. Indie people work as hard as mainstream filmmakers, kayapareho lang din in a lot of aspects."

STILL FRIENDS WITH JOLO. Pero ang pagkakakita sa kanya sa birthday party niSenator Bong Revilla proves daw that there'sstill really something going on between her and Jolo Revilla.

"I was there forSenator Bong, at kahit ano pa ang sabihin, kaibigan ko pa rin si Jolo,"sabi pa ni Lovi.

"Nagkataon lang nahindi na muna kami magkakatrabaho dahil pag ganoon ang sitwasyon, let's faceit, mas grabe ang intriga.

"Ang sa akin lang, I'mold enough to know my responsibilities. I told a million times before that Joloand I are just friends, at kung hindi naniniwala ang mga tao roon, wala namanakong magagawa.

"I just don't want totalk about that. Tama na yung sabihin kong walang dahilan para mag-iwasan kamini Jolo. There's no truth to the rumor that I'm avoiding him, and I'm beingpressured to do that," sabi na lang ni Lovi.

"The people around metrust me enough, so it's just okay. So far, tahimik naman, and I thinkeverybody understands each other na pagdating sa bagay na 'yan. Yun lang angimportant sa akin, and I don't need to elaborate," paglilinaw niLovi.

WRITING IN BLOOM.

"It's titled Bloom,"nangingiting sabi pa niya. "Matagal na kasi 'yung nauna kong album. Ireally love singing, and my recording career is one of my top priorities now.

"I wrote a few songsfor the second album. I did 'Paulit-ulit'. Nine months ago, I wrote that song, and Tito Ogie [Alcasid] actually arranged the music. Sana naman, magustuhan ngmga tao.

"The second album wouldreally be different. For one thing, wala akong ginawang original compositon kosa first album. In the second one, doon mapapakinggan ng mga tao kung ano ang puwede kong magawa as a songwriter.

"Soon, malalaman nilayung iba pang detalye. I have a few revivals, too. Yung first album, bagay langsa isang 16-year-old yung songs ko roon. But in the second one, medyo iba na,may maturity na."
