Rafael Rosell refuses to leave Coverboys despite prodding from concerned people

"I appreciate theirconcern. Pero, more than anything, it's the friendship that we have establishedas a group. Hindi ko basta ipagpapalit yun. Hindi naman ako forever na nasaCoverboys, and there will come a time that I have to go to the next level," says Rafael Rosell. Some people are concerned about the growth of his career.

But Raf believes otherwise.

"I appreciate theirconcern," sabi ni Raf. "Pero, more than anything, it's thefriendship that we have established as a group. Hindi ko bastaipagpapalit yun. Hindi naman ako forever na nasa Coverboys, and there will comea time that I have to go to the next level.

"Pero, sa ngayon, masgusto ko yung may kagrupo ako, where I can feel that I belong. Suportahan kamirito. Hindi kami nagsu-showbiz-an.

That's what I believe. The same way na yungiba sa grupo, ganoon din naman sila. Nagtutulungan kami," sabi pa ni Raf.

IT'S WORK, NOTCOMPETITION.

"I don't think likethat, e," sabi pa ni Rafael. "Sa industriyang ito, sabi ng nanay ko,it's really full of competition.

"I love competition. Ihave done sports na talagang naroroon ang competition, and I'm very competitive, too. Kaya lang, pagdating sa trabaho, I treat it as a profession. Trabaho yunat hindi competition.

"You do what you cando, and you do what you're good at. You do the best that you can do, and whatyou love doing. With that in mind, there's no competition.

"Kahit naman writer ka,actor, businessman, ang dapat mo lang isipin, be the best that you can be.Bakit mo iisiping makipag-compete?" tuluy-tuloy na sabi ni Rafael.

PATIENCE, NOT ENVY RULES.

"There's no envy amongthe Coverboys," pagdidiin pa ni Rafael. "Isa sa matinding advice nanaibigay sa akin when I entered showbiz, the green-eyed monster will really eatme alive.

"I shouldn't allow thatto happen.

"Pero, after a day ortwo na naiisip ko yun, it's not doing me any good. Hindi ako magbe-benefitdoon. Kailangan talagang nagtatrabaho lang ako.

"Walang efforts angibang tao. Nasa akin ang lahat ng efforts by thinking negative. I just watchedagain, and became happy for them."

POLITICS CHANGE.

"Pero, alam mo saindustriyang ito, we don't know, but politics change," napakatotoong sabi ni Rafael.

"Basta, magtatrabaho nalang ako at mag-e-enjoy. Let's see what will happen," pagwawakas niRafael.
