Ruffa Gutierrez plans to make movie and write a book about her life with Yilmaz Bektas

"Movie or book, whatever comes first. Pero definitely, book, and then movie to follow. So, at least now, puwede ko nang i-announce, kasi hindi na maaagaw iyong istorya namin dahil iisa lang ang istorya nina Ruffa at Yilmaz," says Ruffa Gutierrez about her plan to do a movie and write a book about her life story with husband Yilmaz Bektas.

"After I Love Betty La Fea, I want to concentrate this year on doing different kinds of roles. Huwag namang comedy, siguro isang drama na matindi or more hosting jobs," panimulang saad ni Ruffa.

Dugtong niya, "Hindi naman sa nakakasawa na or what, I love comedy because it makes people laugh. People say that I've done a good job in comedy. Kaya nagpapasalamat nga ako sa mga tao who had given me good reviews, like sina Butch Francisco and other people."

Gusto ba niyang gumawa ng drama projects or more challenging roles?

"Yes, I would love to do a drama this year, para magkaroon naman ng breaker. I'm still a Kapamilya, so I believe in the network that they will give me the right project. And, yes, magkakaroon talaga ng Part 2 ang My Monster Mom, masaya yung mga ganoong project, yung maraming taong masisiyahan, and importante rin siyempre na kumita ang pelikula.

"Almost two years na ako rito sa Pilipinas and now that I've made my presence felt, I think I'm gonna start concentrating on doing more roles that will challenge me," sabi ni Ruffa.

TRUE STORY.

"At sakaling hindi ko man ito magawa sa pelikula, gusto ko ay sumulat ako ng libro so that other women and other people can learn from our story. I think I'll do that this year.

Kasi, there are happy times, there were bad times, and all Filipinos love love stories, e. And I asked his permission at pumayag siya, and he even gave the title—The Man with Two Faces.

"Well, I'm just gonna give my side and if he wants to give his side, then he's free to do so.

Dagdag niya, "Last two years ko pa gustong gawin ito, but because it is very tumultuous at that time, hindi ko pa nagawa. But ngayon, medyo... We both raised the white flag, gagawin ko na. And it's not all bad, there's a lot of really good things na mapupulot dito. Of course, Yilmaz and I had a beautiful love story, it just went wrong. And there's a lot of love, kasi kung walang love, wala kaming Lorin and Venice.

"I will play myself but I don't know kung sino ang magiging Yilmaz, I have to look pa, but he has to be a really good actor.

"Movie or book, whatever comes first. Pero definitely, book, and then movie to follow.

Siguro, more of a memoir. At saka I'll be publishing never-before published letter sa amin when he was in custody after the shooting," lahad ni Ruffa.

"But I'm not doing this for the people to be shocked, you know. This is just something that I know that Filipinos will love and will definitely learn from, especially the women.

"Siyempre, ang asawa alam lahat. Huwag kayong maniwala na wala silang alam. And you know, when I write my story, I'm not gonna say that this has to be negative or this has to be positive. I'm just gonna write from my heart. And I think, the most beautiful stories and the most beautiful experiences, come from the heart.

"So, it depends on the reader, you know, how they take the story. Basta one thing is for sure, it would be very touching," nakangiting pagtatapos ni Ruffa.
