FIRST READ ON PEP: Sandara Park cameos as ninja in Koreanseries The Return of Il Jimae

"It's just a small role, but then I've learned that there are no small roles, only small actors. I may not be the lead just yet, but I have a career ahead of me, this is just the beginning," says Sandara Park about landing a cameo in the Korean historical drama The Return of Il Jimae.

Finally, Sandara was given a cameo role in the Korean history-based series The Return of Il Jimae na kasalukuyang ipinapalabas ngayon sa Korea.

Ayon nga kay Sandara who is portraying the role of a Japanese ninja in The Return of Il Jimae, "Sorry for the late reply. I was very busy kasi. Anyway, I will be playing a character named "Rie" in The Return of Il Jimae, a historical Korean drama mala-Dae Jang Geum [Jewel in the Palace]... ang director nito ay same director ng successful Princess Hours na si Hwang In Roe.

"The story is somehow like Robin Hood, it's about a man who fights the rich to help the poor. Small role lang ito, but I'm very happy to have been given a break in Korean TV. It is currently airing on MBC right now, hopefully either ABS-CBN or GMA would buy the rights to air the drama.

"It's actually airing in Korea over MBC. Initially it has 24 episodes, I don't know if it will get extended. It's not as long as Dae Jang Geum."

"It would be nice though if ABS-CBN would buy the rights because I started with them. It's just a small role, but then I've learned that there are no small roles, only small actors. I may not be the lead just yet, but I have a career ahead of me, this is just the beginning."

Bago ang naturang Korean series, nakasama rin si Sandara sa isang music video ng Big Bang's TOP in the music video of the song, "I'm Sorry" with the singer Gummy.
