Chris Cayzer launches acting career in Bakasyunistas

Now that singer Chris Cayzer is an actor, the transplanted Aussie just has to bone up on his Tagalog. He takes lessons twice a week. His favorite word? Inexplicably, "Magmukmok! I don't know, I just love saying it!"

This time, may kasama nang acting questions. Kundi n'yo pa alam, artista na rin ang 22-year-old singer at una siyang susubok umarte sa Bakasyunistas episode ng Dear Friend na magpa-pilot bukas, after SOP.

With his Aussie accent, Taglish na nagkuwento si Chris ng experience niya sa taping ng Bakasyunistas.

"I love acting na! I can be anybody when I'm acting, it's something different. Big challenge for me ang three days taping for Bakasyunistas and what is more fun is, friends ko na lahat ang kasama ko rito. This is a big break for me and I'm getting a lot of experience and it's a perfect timing for me to start an acting career."

Chris is paired with Ryza Cenon, who is super nice, beautiful and supportive, sa bagong episode ng Dear Friend.

FIRST SCREEN KISS. "I play the role of Troy, best friend ni Alex [Mark Herras] and I fell in love with the sister of my best friend. It's a rom-com episode, very funny with a little bit of drama. And I have a kissing scene with Ryza," pagbabalita ni Chris.

So, how was your first screen kiss? " It was fun, although take-three inabot, it was a funny experience and I wanna do it again if given the chance."

FAVORITE WORD. How's his Tagalog? "Okey naman! I'm taking Tagalog lessons every Tuesday and Thursday. I can talk a little and I understand Tagalog, but the problem is the intonation."

What's your favorite Tagalog word? "Magmukmok! I don't know, I just love saying it, it's my favorite!"

He counts John Mayer, Michael Jackson, Michael Frank and the late Kenny Rankin as his musical influences; sa local artists, nabanggit niya sina Barbie Almabis at True Faith.

"Gusto ko ring gumawa ng movie, it would be fun, but I have no movie offers yet. My contract is with GMA-7 for SOP," pagtatapos ni Chris.
