Ogie Alcasid knew ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren's wedding plan from the start

Ogie Alcasid admitted that he knew about the wedding plans of his ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren; he opted to keep quiet out of respect for Michelle and her fiancé Mark Murrow.

Ogie Alcasid got strapped at Showbiz Central's "Don't Lie to Me" segment yesterday, June 21. He talked about the upcoming wedding of his ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren and about his girlfriend Regine Velasquez.

The first question came directly from the Asia's Songbird herself via VTR.

Ogie smiled and answered a resounding "Yes." When the result from the machine agreed with him, he added, "Sinabi ko naman sa kanya na kahit lumaki siya, e, mamahalin ko siya nang habang buhay."

The next question for Ogie came from host John "Sweet" Lapus. He asked, "Nagtampo ka daw kasi ikaw of all people ang pinakahuling nakaalam sa balitang ikakasal na si Michelle Van Eimeren kay Mark [Murrow]."

"No," smiled Ogie.

Again, Ogie's answer turned out to be the truth.

Ogie knew all along but his respect for Michelle and Mark kept him quiet. "Naggo-golf pa nga ako noon, e, so sabi ko na 'Wow! Ang ganda naman.' I am very, very, happy for them and my prayer for them is to have a wonderful wedding and a great wonderful life together. "

How about the kids? Were they informed?

"Of course," said Ogie. "Yes."

Ogie also revealed that he will have a role in the wedding, but he did not say what it is.

The last question for Ogie again related to the personal side of his life. John asked, "Sa SOP [also yesterday], medyo napaluha ka habang umaawit ng pang-Father's Day.

"Siyempre," said Ogie. Before the machine could give a result, he voluntarily explained, "Minsan pag iniisip mo ang Father's Day, e, ina-anticipate ko ang kalungkutan. Tayong mga magulang, e, tinatanong natin sa sarili na are we good parents. But God is good because he provided for us to see our children. Nagpapasalamat ako."
