She regales Cosmopolitanwith stories of her impulsiveness, beginning with her foray into showbiz through the reality talent search Starstruck. "For fun lang ako sumali dahilthat time wala pang mga reality shows," she tells Cosmo, "Since nandun na ako, eh di tinuluy-tuloy ko na."
Even her controversial transfer from GMA-7 to ABS-CBN a few years back can be blamed on her impulsiveness. As she says, "By then, five years na ako saGMA, so medyo nainip ako and feeling ko parang nagmamadali ako masyado... 'Yung ugali ko na impulsive, nadadala ko pati sawork ko, kayaI decided to move saother network."
But her youthful impulsiveness has been tempered by maturity. She tells Cosmo, "Dati kasi, ang iniisip ko, 'Kung saan ako masaya, doon ako.' Pero dapat iniisip mo rin na mayconsequences ang bawatchoice mo, na maycost anghappiness mo."
The statement transforms Cristine from an impulsive teenager to a fun and fearless Cosmo chick who jumps in with her eyes wide open, as she goes on to say, "Kung handa kang tanggapin angcost, siguraduhin mongworth it anghappiness na makukuha mo."
Ready to take on any challenge the world throws at her, Cristine hopes for meatier roles and says, "Basta gusto ko lang patunayan sa mga manonood naversatile ako... na kaya ko anuman ang ibigay sa akin... bida, kontrabida, pa-sexy, pa-martir..."
