May Bukas Pa, starring child sensation Zaijian Jaranilla (in photo), regains its lead in the primetime race last Friday, August 14. But this was immediately taken by Tayong Dalawa last Monday, August 17.

ABS-CBN's family drama May Bukas Pa regained the No. 1 slot in the primetime race last Friday, August 14, after primetime newscast TV Patrol World held that spot for three consecutive days (from Aug. 11 to 13).

May Bukas Pa got 36.2 percent last Friday. This is according to the latest overnight ratings of Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) among National households.

Powerhouse-cast drama Tayong Dalawa, also from ABS-CBN, climbed to No. 2 with 35.1 percent, while GMA-7's fantaserye Darna maintained its No. 3 position with 34.4 percent.

Only You was in fourth place with 34.1 percent, while TV Patrol World dropped to No. 5 with 33.8 percent.

The rest of the Top 10 was occupied by the following: Boys Over Flowers, 24 Oras, Rosalinda, The Wedding, and Adik Sa 'Yo.

Wowowee took its usual top spot in the daytime race with 25.4 percent; followed by fellow ABS-CBN programs Kambal Sa Uma (21.7 percent) and Precious Hearts Romances Presents Bud Brothers (19.2 percent).

GMA-7's Eat Bulaga! and ABS-CBN's Miss No Good took the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.

But, on Monday, August 17, Tayong Dalawa was able to grab the lead away from May Bukas Pa. Tayong Dalawa posted a rating of 37.9 percent, while May Bukas Pa had 36 percent, which is good for third place behind second-placer Only You (36.5 percent).

TV Patrol World came in fourth place with 35.2 percent, while Darna slipped to fifth place with 34.7 percent.

GMA-7's newest reality show, Survivor Philippines: Palau, failed to enter the Top 10 primetime programs on its pilot episode.

The Top 5 programs last Monday were the following: Wowowee, Kambal Sa Uma, Precious Hearts Romances Presents Bud Brothers, Eat Bulaga!, and Maria de Jesus: Anghel Sa Lansangan.

ABS-CBN's drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya was the No. 1 primetime program again last Saturday, August 14, by virtue of its 31.1 percent rating; followed by The Singing Bee (28.8 percent); then the pilot episode of Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat Ni Ramon Revilla Presents Tiagong Akyat (27.6 percent); followed by Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (23 percent); and Vilma: A Woman For All Seasons (22.2 percent) to complete the Top 5.
